Your Memento Yearbook Storefront

Modified on Fri, 26 Jan 2024 at 05:38 PM

Your yearbook publisher may have provided your school with an online yearbook storefront to facilitate your yearbook sales.

Note that all questions regarding your yearbook store pricing, fundraising and products should be directed to your yearbook company. Their contact information is available in the bottom left corner of the Memento Yearbook menu.

If enabled by your publisher, Editor(s)-in-Chief may click on the Storefront option under the Admin area to view information about your store.

Under the Overview tab, you will find the store's website address and a parent passcode. The passcode allows parents/guardians to associate their order to their child - using the same information added to your yearbook's portrait database.

Copy the store link and passcode to send to your school community via your online newsletter or email list. The link will bring them to a simple website, where they may add the yearbook to a cart and checkout using a secure online payment service. At the end of the sales season, your Publisher will transfer your fundraising revenue via cheque or ACH transfer as per the instructions of your yearbook publishing company.

To see the storefront from the parent's perspective, consult the relevant article directly from the storefront's knowledge base.

Under the Storefront's Products tab, your available products are shown. Your publisher may offer a single yearbook or other products. You will see your fundraising amount per book in this area - the fundraising markup is added by your yearbook publisher - please contact them directly for details.

The Sales tab lets you track your orders and estimates the fundraising amount to be returned to your school.

Under Storefront Sales, you can see which members of your school community have purchased yearbooks online.

The list of people include everyone listed in your book's portrait database, as well as any person added in during checkout in the online store.

Note that this information only includes sales from the online yearbook store associated to a student/staff member. It does not reflect the number of books ordered (eg: a staff member orders 5 books) or cash or cheques received directly by the school.

Click on the Export to CSV link to get a spreadsheet version of this information, which will assist you to target individuals for follow-up promotional activities.

Don't see a Storefront option? Only Editors-in-Chief are able to access this feature, and your publishing company may have turned it off. Contact them directly to discuss online sales and fundraising options.
