Assigning a single photo to multiple groups

Modified on Tue, 20 Aug, 2019 at 2:36 PM

Portraits may be assigned to more than one group, allowing the portrait to appear on more than one portrait page. For instance, if an assistant teacher works with two homerooms, their portrait can appear on both classroom pages.

To add a portrait to two or more groups, edit the portrait database. Find the portrait that needs to be assigned to more than one group, then into the relevant column next to the portrait. Type the group names, separating the information with a simple comma.

IMPORTANT: Do not include any spaces between the group names. eg: Typing 1,3 in the Grade column will add a portrait to Grade 1 & 3, but typing 1, 3 will not add them to Grade 3.

For example, an assistant teacher belongs to two classrooms - specified by the Teacher name.  This portrait needs to be added to both Teacher groups so it will appear on two classroom portrait panel pages that are grouped by Teacher name.

Note that both teacher names have been added in his Teacher column, separated by a comma but no space. Once the information has been added, the portrait will appear on both portrait panel pages.

Note that this assistant teacher appears in the second position in both panels - this is caused by his relative priority ranking in the portrait database. His portrait has a higher priority than the students but a lower priority than the homeroom teachers.
