Bypassing magnetic frame alignment

Modified on Tue, 8 Oct, 2019 at 12:35 PM

When you reposition or resize frames your page, a guideline will appear to magnetically align frame edges to each other. In most cases this is useful to get items nicely positioned on your page.

However, you may need to fine-tune positioning or frame size that is prevented by magnetic aligmnet.

To turn off magnetic alignment, hold the Shift key on your keyboard while dragging the frame's handles - you will be able to freely position it on the canvas.
